I was looking through my photos from Christmas Eve and Christmas morning, and I literally started to cry. I know, I’m a doofus
. It’s like, for the first time I really saw my sons …
They are growing into men. Even little Keigan Michael, isn’t really “little” Keigan Michael, anymore – he’s 11 now, and I can see the vestiges of his childhood beginning to fade from his precious face. His mannerisms have always been ‘old’ – well, for years anyway. He’s a more mature young man, at 11, than some are at 16 and 18
. Why must they grow up so fast? At the same time, I must get on my knees and say thank you, Jesus, for letting them grow up into such fine young men. Oh, they are certainly not perfect, and have a good journey ahead of them yet, in many ways, even the older fella – but God has been incredibly gracious to me, as a mother, and to each of His children.
God, I love them – thank you.

I love that 2nd picture… It’s like C doesn’t “need” a dog, ’cause he’d rather have his sister
LOL I never thought of that … also, it’s the oldest and the youngest thing … very cool.
